Our standard payment terms are 30 days nett. All first orders for new accounts are on a pro-forma basis.
2. Orders
The right is reserved to refuse cancellation of orders in the case of goods ready for despatch or in the process of manufacture.
No Order will be processed if the nett value is less than £25.00
3. Delivery
Delivery dates are quoted subject to the availability of materials. Every effort will be made to effect delivery within the quoted period, but no liability can be accepted should it be exceeded.
4. Special
In the event of the customer's official order form containing any special conditions, it is understood that such are only binding in-so-far as they are not at variance with the terms and conditions mentioned herewith, or are specifically accepted by us in writing.
5. Claims
No claim for delivery shortages or damage in transit can be entertained unless reported in writing to us within 3 working days of receipt of goods by the customer.
6. Returns
In general, we cannot accept return of goods for credit, where such goods have been correctly supplied to order. Where, however, we agree voluntarily to such a return, a handling charge of 20% will be made, and return freight cost will be charged.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FROM CUSTOMERS WITHOUT OUR PRIOR agreement, no goods will be accepted by our warehouse without a prior authorisation number.
7. Carriage Paid - UK MAINLAND ONLY
£200.00 carriage paid excluding VAT. Orders below £200.00 will be subject to a carriage charge of 7.5%, minimum £12.50. Delivery on a request overnight are subject yo an additional charge of £12.00.
Orders of own collection from our warehousing are subject to four working hours notice, add-ons to these orders at time of collection will not be accepted. Please note that certain large products carry a supplementary carriage charge irrespective of order value.
8. Overseas Carriage
Orders for outside mainland U.K. will be considered ex-works and subject to all transport costs.
10. Customer Ownership
Ownership of the goods does not pass from U Group Ltd until:
a. The goods are paid for,
b. All monies have been received,
c.If goods are not paid for, U Group Ltd reserves the right to enter the purchaser's premises to recover the goods
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to update, modify or change products without prior notice. All prices printed are current at time of printing but are subject to alteration without notice. Prices charged will be those ruling at date of despatch.
12. Where stock items are not available U Group reserves the right to send an alternative product.
13. Samples
Samples are only provided on a sale or return basis.
